Web7 Feb 2024 · The most common causes for AC fan blower motor not working in Subaru Forester are blown fuse, bad relay, resistor or control module malfunction and faulty blower motor. However, a bad electrical connector or broken wire, or a defect in the climate control unit can also cause the blower motor to stop working. 1. Blown fuse Web20 Feb 2024 · First thing to check: with the engine cold and not running and the AC system turned off, does the fan spin easily when you move it by hand? If it doesn't spin freely, or at all, the fan bearings have seized; time for a new fan. If the fan spins freely then check the electrical distribution box in the engine bay.

Of course it has to be Saturday night so no checking with the dealer until Monday. Too freaking cold outside to do much out there. Not sure if it could be fuse blown for some reason or something with the auto climate control system.
