Some makes, I can never break them loose for the first time using an impact (with quality impact u-joint and short socket- my preferred method of removing and installing those bolts). I have to get out the 3ft breaker bar and really lean on them.

It has 602 hours on it and last year my Dad ran it without oil and locked up the crank bearing. That pulley need to slide up about 2 inches and then the pto clutch will slide onto the end of the crankshaft and the bolt then holds everything in place.
