The first two sentences of your profile should speak to that ideal client’s pain and make them say, “This therapist understands me.” Jared talks about common mistakes that many people make in creating their profile: WebFollow the 80:20 rule in your PsychologyToday profile or GoodTherapy profile. Spend at least 80% addressing your ideal client and the client’s problems. Keep the discussion about you and how wonderful you are to no more than 20% of the profile.
