Web26 aug. 2009 · Check for rub through on the intercooler tube above the steering box...steel steering line rubs through the aluminum intercooler tube. Just checked and could not find any damage or dents from the steering shaft hitting..looks like it's about 1.5 inches away. Thank you for that however as I never would have thought about it. Depending on the vehicle model and system layout, you can either test the entire duct system, starting from air filter box throughout the turbo, intercooler and engine manifold, ortest the system intake (vacuum) and pressure sides separately.

Just about any spray will work. Some people hav eused propane but I don't recomend that. Don't underestimate the value of a good general tune-up on engine performance.
