WebDec 5, 2024 · I’m thinking about trying to find a nice 16 ga Model 12. Many of the guns I’m seeing have decent receiver and barrel bluing, but many have lackluster wood at best. There are Model 12 stocks that occasionally show up for sale and High Plains Stocks have a reasonable selection. Will any other gauge Model 12 stock fit to a 16 gauge ? 12 or 20 ?

I bought an unfinished monte carlo style stock for a Model 12 from High Plains. It was inletted and shaped as they describe on their website but the monte carlo was not as high as I would have liked.
